Nora Hanagan

Visiting Assistant Professor
Duke University

Nora Hanagan is Visiting Assistant Professor at Duke University’s Department of Political Science and the Managing Director of the Duke Program in American Values and Institutions. She also directs the American Experience undergraduate Focus Program.  Her research interests include American political theory, contemporary democratic theory, food politics, critical race theory, and feminist theory.  She has published several peer-reviewed articles, and her book manuscript, Democratic Responsibility: The Problem of Many Hands in American Life, is currently under contract at the University of Notre Dame Press.
