A 3-part training session led by Alt-Ac(tivism)’s Activist in Residence, Sendolo Diaminah, and co-facilitated by area organizers Laila Nur & Kaji Reyes-Gertes.

We are living in a beautiful moment of global resistance. In communities worldwide and locally, everyday people are waking up and joining the struggle for justice: speaking truth to power, organizing their communities, and engaging in mass mobilizations. With increased interest and involvement there is also a growing need for deeper political education, strategic organizing, campaign planning, and transformative leadership development. Join the Let’s Get Free! 6-day training to develop these and other skills that will help amplify our impact and strengthen the movement.

When: Sept 10th-11th, Oct 1st-2nd, Nov 12th-13th, 2016

Where: Friedl Building Room 107, East Campus, Duke University

Details: Free and open to the public. Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged. Lunch will be served and limited childcare available–please inquire when you register. Space is limited so register today!
