Robyn Marasco, professor of political science at Hunter College, will give a talk entitled “Adorno, Fanon, and the Dialectics of Despair.” In this talk, Marasco will show how Adorno and Fanon, in different ways, develop and rework Hegel’s legacy by performing the interplay between despair and possibility, brokenness and utopia.
