Frames of Thought

Nick Sousanis San Francisco State University
Abstract: This think piece employs a graphical format to argue against a traditional hierarchy in which words are more respected and valued in the world of knowledge than images. It posits the idea that images are not just afterthoughts or alternatives; rather, they are integral to understanding who we are as humans and who we will become. Even the citations and references in this piece are visually represented.
