Chris Kennedy is a graduate student at Duke University, where he studies the political consequences of advances in communication technology. His research draws on the history of political thought, in order to think about lessons from similar periods of transformation, and engages with the political writing of political activists involved in the development of new technology today. His work focuses the topics of civil disobedience, intellectual property, and the ethics of leaking.
