Kathleen Stewart writes ethnographic experiments aimed at approaching the compositional poesis of social-material-aesthetic ways of living through whatever’s happening. Her books include A Space on the Side of the Road: A Cultural Poesis of Another America, Ordinary Affects, and, currently, Worlding and, with Lauren Berlant, The Hundreds. She teaches anthropology and writing at the University of Texas, Austin.
