Duke University faculty composer Scott Lindroth shares his anticipation for the multimedia concert, Project Orfeo, featuring famed National Book Award-winning author, Richard Powers. This event was co-sponsored by the Franklin Humanities Institute, Duke University’s Department of Music, and other external sponsors for Project Orfeo, which took place on September 25th, 2016 at Baldwin Auditorium, located on the university’s East Campus. A pre-concert conversation on Words and Music was held on September 23rd, 2016 at Duke’s Forum for Scholars and Publics. These events launched the 2016-17 Humanities Futures signature departmental program series.
