Working Group: Israel/Palestine

Israel/Palestine: Political Futures, Scholarly Futures is co-convened by Rebecca Stein (Cultural Anthropology) and Erika Weinthal (Nicholas School of the Environment). This Working Group will mark the 50th anniversary of Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories in 2017 by showcasing scholarship from across the humanities and social sciences that has studied the Israeli military occupation – both its various effects on Palestinians living in its grip (medical, social, political, environmental, humanitarian) and the political terms of military rule and its effects on Israeli society.
